Our road trip through Southern Italy was exactly that. As the Epico ladies, we travelled with open eyes and full hearts, exploring venues, meeting vendors, discovering new design details, and experiencing the beauty of the Italian wedding and event industry from close.

Italy has always had a special relationship with celebration. From historic architecture and romantic landscapes to refined hospitality and effortless style, every place has a story to tell. During our trip, we wanted to see more than beautiful locations. We wanted to understand how Italian weddings feel, how events are styled, how vendors work, and how local culture becomes part of the guest experience.

Southern Italy welcomed us with warmth, texture, and character. The stone buildings, charming villages, dramatic coastlines, elegant masserias, intimate courtyards, and long dinner tables all gave us new ideas for future celebrations. Every stop offered something different: a color palette, a floral detail, a table setting, a venue atmosphere, a lighting concept, or simply a feeling we wanted to remember.

Meeting local vendors was one of the most valuable parts of the journey. We had the chance to connect with creative professionals who share the same passion for detail, beauty, and authentic hospitality. These conversations reminded us that the wedding industry is not only about design. It is about people, trust, collaboration, and the ability to create something meaningful together.

We also visited venues that inspired us deeply. Some were elegant and refined, others rustic and soulful. Some felt perfect for intimate weddings, while others could host grand destination celebrations. What they all had in common was atmosphere. They did not need to be overdecorated to feel special. Their beauty came from authenticity, history, and a strong sense of place.

This trip gave us fresh perspective. It reminded us that inspiration is everywhere when you are willing to observe. A ceramic plate, a linen napkin, an old doorway, a garden dinner, a sunset aperitivo, or a beautifully simple table can become the beginning of a new event concept.
